After an upgrade, this under-sink replacement filter is now labeled AQU-WF18 (formerly AQU-8018) and is designed for use with cold-water lines only; it is tested by IAPMO to NSF/ANSI 42 for chlorine, taste and odor reduction and certified to NSF/ANSI 372 for lead-free, BPA-free materials, with additional third-party testing indicating reduction of select VOCs such as chloroform, benzene, chlorobenzene, chloropicrin, and styrene. For best results, replace the filter about every 12 months or 24,000 gallons (whichever comes first, depending on local water quality). This filter does not reduce TDS and is compatible with systems/models including H-300, H-1200, H-300-HSD, H-300-NXT, 7CB5 (and related variants), EF-6000, EP-CTO-17-R, EP-CLM-17-R, S-101, TFC, as well as compatible with EV9270-71/72, EV9282-01, EV9274-41, EV9618-11/21, EV9855-50, EV9693-01/46, EV9617-76, EV9692-71, and EV9273-77/70.
